On autumn’s run the morning sun
Reflects on amber sleeves
Takes my hand on a one-night-stand
To the corner of the world
An island’s dream encased in steam
To warm my dew-drop heart
Takes me in - a heroine
On the corner of the world
On winter wings the evening sings
The song of spring’s reprise
Takes me round to alien town
In the corner of the world
A continent in discontent
Rising up to take control
Takes my mind to another time
To the corner of the world
