The mind boggles at the applicability of this graphic metaphor. Having potted itself within the sterile isolation of civilization's war on nature by assuming god's gift of creation granted our proprietary rights over it, there can be no other conclusion than that nature, not god, has expired. Nature just sees a species becoming endangered from lack of adaptability.
