I quite like it too. I'm amused at your self quoted appreciation almost as well.
quirks are funny..when they're not annoying--which they invariably are
a perfect little tune you have here! i like this post very much, the piece is the perfect shape, sound, rhythm, everything!
and the image is something as well--the man himself looks like a drooling idiot, i think, and yet he casts quite a monstrous shadow, which is usually the case with drooling idiots...
I like how the whole thing seems to hang together .... yet have no idea how this is being achieved.... ha!! you have done it again!!

Zoe: the thing I like about his shadow is that represents him accurately; not the cliched nice man/nasty shadow, if you get what I mean
Harlequin: This was originally a serious six stanza poem - couldn't get it to work until these disconnected line came together and made me laugh (not often that I get to make myself laugh) :)
