The Coriolis Effect

She is the lightning rod and he is the storm
Across slate roof sleet to gutter groan
Down drainpipe wall-attached
To where the grass meets the street

Your lawn lakes green the fence defers
To the baited breath of silent neighbours
She breathes a sigh as raindrop falls
To stain the wash on white night walls

You are not drawn from stencil brush nor led by nose to greed
And words won’t waive the sentence yet handed down by need
You are the wave upon my shore and my heart the rocks to greet
sliding sand past warlike crabs patrolling borders fleet

She is the question he is the answer
filtered through the web of branches
through pages torn from days delay
to where they cash their chances

Your weeping eye at best refers
To the baited breath of slighted neighbours
She asks again be still the rain
That stains the wash on white night walls

You are not brushed from stencil drawn nor led by nose to greed
And time won’t salve the sentence yet handed down by need
You are the wave upon my shore and my heart the rocks to greet
Standing firm with warlike crabs patrolling borders fleet

She is the thought he is the sentence
Scratched across parched paper portals
Falling through days and unexpected delays
To the ears of lesser-born mortals

Ears made of corn and crumbling porn
Eavesdropped on by paranoid neighbours
She waters his words with swarming birds
That stain the wash on white stone walls

You are not born from stencils torn nor led by the nose to greed
And your life is compiled from sentences handed down by need
You are the wave upon my shore and my heart the rocks to greet
Facing up to warlike crabs patrolling borders fleet

Takes a man strong enough to let love conquer taboos about girls with crabs. ;•}

Powerful imagery, resonant with rich juxtapositions of light and dark. Lovely work, as always, Pisces.

And who else writes of such esoteric yet universal quandaries as to provide an precise opportunity to use such an urgent, well polished phrase but yourself, sir.

From the abandoned areas of the brain
B28032 / Wed, 23 Apr 2008 08:35:02 / Intelligence

This is a call to collect videos, sounds, texts and images that witness
the attempt to contact the abandoned areas of the brain. The reason for
this call is a series of videos found on the Internet using the keyword
“cronovisore”

What is the Chronovisor
The Chronovisor is a machine for viewing past and future events.
It was invented in the ’40s by Father Pellegrino Ernetti together with a
group of twelve world famous scientists, The Chronovisor was portrayed
as a large cabinet with a normal cathode ray tube for viewing the
received events and a series of buttons, levers, and other controls for
selecting the time and the location to be viewed. It worked by
receiving, decoding and reproducing the electromagnetic radiation left
behind from past events.
After Ernetti’s death, the Chronovisor was never found. The French
Theologian Francoise Brune reckons that the machine has been seized and
hide by the Vatican itself.

What is happening right now
We have reasons to think that the Chronovisor, or a very similar
machine, began to function autonomously again and it’s disseminating
online messages coming from a parallel universe. Using the keyword
“cronovisore” infact, we have found a certain number of mysterious
videos disseminated in several online public archives.
Many of this videos are apparently filmed in abandoned industrial areas
and we think that the surrounding is not casual.
If you try to interpret the messages which is hiding in the footages,
you will sense that the telepresence is trying to establish a contact,
search for a feedback, call to reactivate the abandoned areas of the brain.

The Call
We kindly ask you to help us in giving some feedback to this mysterious
call, using audio, video or texts that may create a transmission on the
dismissed frequencies of the mind or simply tell us which are the
abandoned areas of the brain.

The contact
We engage ourselves in setting up a broadcasting station in an abandoned
industrial area in the north of Italy. We hope in this way to be able to
establish a contact between us and them
