The Conversion of St. Paul ~ Carravaggio
I am the voice that whispers love is all you need
I am the force that drives you to justify your greed
And all those who declare war for what is right
Will use my name to justify their power and their might
I am the chink in your armour that lets the demons in
Allowing self-doubt and the concept of original sin
To fester and bloom into a cancerous flower
That will fill you with fear and cause you to cower
I am the resurrection and I am the light
I am the horror that haunts you in the night
And all your panicked prayers and ritual guilt collection
Will only serve to drive further in my direction
I am the voice that whispers love is all you need
I am the force that drives you to justify your greed
And all those who declare war for what is right
Will use my name to justify their power and their might
I am the chink in your armour that lets the demons in
Allowing self-doubt and the concept of original sin
To fester and bloom into a cancerous flower
That will fill you with fear and cause you to cower
I am the resurrection and I am the light
I am the horror that haunts you in the night
And all your panicked prayers and ritual guilt collection
Will only serve to drive further in my direction

Like a three sided blade voicing a whole they never reveal and piercing a hole they'll never conceal.
Ah, now this one is really something.
Nice, wonder where did that come from?;)
We are all sheeps once in our life,as we are leaders too,I guess just to try to not get into bad associations, hard to see who's good and who's bad behind a screen. Not easy at all.
Purge me from your soul, you can not do. I have bound you on the inside. Forcing you to lie, cheat and steal. I am the greed you can not conceal.
The title for this comes originally from Milton's Lycidas:
The hungry Sheep look up, and are not fed,
But swoln with wind, and the rank mist they draw,
Rot inwardly, and foul contagion spread
Later John Brunner used it for his dystopian novel The Sheep Look Up
I first heard the phrase on Fad Gadget's album Under the Flag in the early '80s.
I guess it left an impression :)
I was not prepared for this. I will be back...
You can't be prapared for everything :) Welcome Megan
